When you think it is going to rain, grab your camera and head out to your favorite spot!  This was taken at Lake Wauburg as waves of heavy rain showers came across.  I stood at the end of a pier protected by a canopy roof.

Low water levels around Gainesville are visible everywhere.  Lake Alice here exposing more Cypress knees.

The Ginger plant is tall and has many delicate blossoms.  Hard to compose a pleasing image.

Saturating some colors can give pleasing results..sometimes.

Coyote Butte in N. Arizona contains "The Wave".  This geology is from wind erosion, not water.

I wanted to give some perspective to the size and location of Mooney Falls.  This is one of several Falls of the Havasupi in the Grand Canyon National Park....well, not really in the Park, this is the Havasupi Indian Reservation.

Needs no explanation - just keep the camera close to the ground and aim it towards the sky.

Spent a time in Arizona with my cousin Kirk and his wife; hiked down into the Havasupi Indian Reservation.  Cascading falls all along here.  Photo from the high trail - Kirk and Cathy were on the low trail by the river.

Low water (about 3-4 feet lower than normal) on the Suwanee river yields these large dry river banks and pools.  Dark tree colors shows normal water levels.  Photo taken yesterday.
